Flatbed Rates Trend Upward

Feb 11 -17 – Spot market rates have remained high in 2018, even as the normal winter slowdown chips away at the peaks we saw a few weeks ago. For instance, the national average van rate lost another 2¢ last week, but it is still higher than at any point in 2017. The national reefer rate declined 5¢, but flatbed rates moved the other direction, rising 2¢.
