Linehaul spot rates down again after a brief pause

Spot market capacity loosened quickly last week with equipment posts hitting the 7th highest level since 2017
Jun 6 – 12 – In the first two weeks of June ,dry van spot rates typically increase by $0.08/mile on average, but that’s in pre-pandemic years. In the last two weeks, dry van spot rates have dropped $0.04/mile, and reefer is down $0.10/mile when it typically increases by $0.07/mile. Flatbed is essentially flat but would typically be expected to increase by $0.05/mile on average.
