Load-to-Truck Ratios Rise For Vans and Reefers
Jul 29 – Aug 4 – Truckload rates continue their seasonal decline, although freight volumes and prices rose in several top markets. In the first few days of August, national average rates dropped for vans, reefers and flatbeds compared to July averages. National load-to-truck ratios increased for vans and reefers, a sign that the rate picture could turn around soon.
