Flatbed Load-to-Truck Ratio Tops 100

Mar 25 – 31 – Van rates rose last week as Easter freight moved to its final destinations and shippers closed the books on Q1. The national average van rate increased 2¢ per mile, while the average reefer rate held steady. The national average flatbed rate gained 1¢, but more significantly the flatbed load-to-truck ratio surged to a record-setting 101 loads per truck.
